For one week this year, your donation to Full Fact could be doubled.

The political turmoil of 2022 has proven a breeding ground for false and misleading claims from politicians and the media; claims that hurt democracy, promote hate, and damage people’s health.

But Full Fact has been working hard to counter this. This year we’ve published hundreds of fact checks ([link removed]) , requested corrections ([link removed]) to the record from numerous MPs, and given hundreds of thousands of people access to accurate, impartially sourced information.

Increasingly uncertain economic and political climates make continuing this work vital into 2023. That’s why we need your support, and for one week from midday 29th November - midday 6th December, during The Big Give Christmas Challenge ([link removed]) , your donation to Full Fact will be doubled.

Donations made during the campaign will be matched by our generous pledgers and The Big Give’s champion funders, meaning your gift will have twice the impact in tackling bad information. If you give just once in the next 12 months, this is your chance to make your donation go as far as possible.

Your doubled donation will help:

- Fact check false and misleading claims.
- Prevent the harm caused by bad information.
- Demand corrections to the record.
