Friend: With less than 30 days until the runoff election, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to keep Georgia blue. But first, I'd like to explain why I'm running – and why I need your urgent support to win.
I grew up in public housing in Savannah, Georgia, and I had 11 brothers and sisters. We were short on money but long on love and faith. From there, I became the first in our family to graduate from a four-year college, I earned a Ph.D., and 15 years ago, I was called to Martin Luther King Jr.'s pulpit to serve as the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
As a pastor, I always thought my impact doesn't stop at the church door – that's where it starts. I've been a lifelong advocate for affordable health care, fair wages, and voting rights. Now, I'm running for reelection to continue bringing these critical fights to Washington.
Listen, friend: The opportunities that made my journey possible, from Kayton Homes to Dr. King's pulpit, are growing further and further out of reach for far too many across this country. We have a chance to change that, but not without support from grassroots folks like you. That's why I have to ask:
Please, will you chip in $5 or more right now to join me in this fight to keep Georgia blue?
Mitch McConnell and the GOP have already spent $52 million to flood Georgia with dishonest attack ads – on TOP of the more than $37 million my opponent has raised from GOP donors.
With all signs pointing to an incredibly close runoff, I've got nowhere else to turn – and I need you with me to win, friend: Give $5 or more right now to power our grassroots movement forward, win this runoff, and keep Georgia blue!
Thank you for your support – I'm so grateful.
– Raphael Warnock
