Thank you, Anonymous.
The support of people like you helped us continue our work to preserve our antibiotics, reduce our plastic waste, and advocate for better consumer protections in 2019.
As we step into 2020, I'm looking forward to accomplishing even more on behalf of our health, safety and well-being. With you in our corner, we know we can get it done.
In 2019, U.S. PIRG and our national network:
* Delivered more than 125,000 signatures urging Wendy's to source beef raised without routine antibiotics, and helped win commitments from major fast food companies to adopt more responsible antibiotics policies.
* Led the charge to make Maine and Maryland the first states to ban polystyrene foam containers and cups.
* Alerted the public to unsafe toys for sale, deadly infant sleepers still in use at day care centers and dangerous cars with unrepaired safety defects for sale at AutoNation dealerships.
None of our work would be possible without the contributions of members and supporters like you. Thank you for making 2019 a success, and here's to an even better 2020.
Thank you,
Faye Park
President
