Incredible news, friend: We have officially won Nevada's Senate race, and Democrats have defended our Senate majority!

We always knew this was going to be a tough campaign. National pundits had all counted us out, declaring me the most vulnerable incumbent senator of the cycle. They even said we would cost Democrats the Senate majority. But thanks to this grassroots team, we proved them all wrong.

I can't thank you enough, friend. This victory is all of ours. I hope you feel that, and I hope you can find a moment to celebrate it.

Representing Nevada families and serving as our country's first Latina senator is a true honor and a responsibility I do not take lightly. Now that this election is over, I am looking forward to getting back to work on the issues that matter most to all of us: defending reproductive freedoms, protecting affordable health care and Social Security, and creating opportunities that give working families a fair shot at achieving their American dream.

Thank you again for being by my side every step of the way in this incredibly tough race.
