To that end, industry propagates a false image of chickens and turkeys as radically inferior to their wild counterparts and to “pets.” I will show who chickens and turkeys bred for the poultry and egg industry really are, based on my personal experience with these birds for 37 years going back to when I met a little hen named Viva who changed my life.
