We're at a sad moment in this race, team.

LAST MONTH: Kamala Harris suspended her campaign for president.

THIS MORNING: Julián Castro announced his departure from the race.

NOW: What started out as the most diverse field of candidates running for president in our nation's history is quickly becoming one that does not reflect the rich diversity of our party and of our country.

As one of the few candidates of color left in this race, I am fighting with everything I've got to secure my spot on the next debate stage. But the deadline is just over a week away, and I can't do it alone. Can you help?

It's becoming more and more evident that billionaires with seemingly endless amounts of personal wealth to pour into this race have a clearer path to the nomination than those without giant bank accounts.

But that won't stop us from tackling any challenge that stands in our way. And our next challenge is qualifying for the January debate.

Earlier this week, our campaign went up on TV in two key Iowa media markets with a brand new ad, and our team on the ground has reported an increase in support as more and more people see it.

The simple truth is we need to further our reach using TV ads like the one we've launched. Can you chip in to expand our ad buy so more people can hear our message?
