My decision to run for Congress wasn’t an easy one -- but I knew we had to send a message to those who put party over country in DC. Our community deserves real, present, accountable, and committed representation, and this change campaign is a movement built from the ground up with people like you who are ready to fight for it.

Today, I want to personally thank you for all of your support over the last month and year. Thanks to you, we were able to close out the year with a successful quarter that exceeded our fundraising goals.

This means we’ll be able to run a smart campaign that’s focused on improving Southwest Washingtonians’ lives, to keep up the momentum by hiring more staff, and to get my message out to the people.

My team will reach out again over the next few days to talk more about our plans for the year to come. But for now -- I just want to thank you for being part of this.
