Friend,

It’s hard to believe that just over a year ago, you elected me to represent southern Brooklyn in the New York State Senate.

This past year, the state legislature had the most productive session in its history. I am so proud of the work that I’ve been able to accomplish in that time. Two of the bills I'm most proud to have sponsored were: renewing and expanding the school-zone speed camera program, and ensuring our 9/11 heroes recieve the care they deserve.

That's not all though, there's more to come in the 2020 session; I've introduced legislation to require full accessiblity at every MTA station, give transit riders a vote on the MTA board, and to lower sales taxes for items bought at small businesses.

But we still have more to do. I am going back to Albany next week to continue the work that you elected me to do. I need your support during this year so we can finish what we started and make sure we are ready for next year’s campaign.
