Ahead of the passage of Proposition 1, which allows abortion to birth for any reason in California, DuPont Clinic, the Washington D.C.-based abortion business that commits “all-trimester” abortions, has announced plans to open a location in Los Angeles in the fall of 2023.
Vermont, California, and Michigan each enshrined abortion as a state constitutional right on Tuesday as voters turned out largely in support of abortion on demand through all nine months of pregnancy for any reason. Meanwhile, Kentucky’s pro-life Amendment 2, which would have protected preborn children in the state constitution, failed to pass.
Though the votes have not been fully tabulated, it appears at this time that Montana voters have failed to pass a referendum that would have ensured that all children born alive, including after a failed or botched abortion, receive proper medical treatment.
"My wife Cindy’s water broke early one morning in April 2014, while I was out of state on business. She was only 26 weeks into the pregnancy. To Cindy’s credit, she crawled to the bathroom in the early morning hours and drove herself to our local hospital while she experienced contractions."
On Tuesday, November 8, citizens in four Texas cities and six Nebraska villages cast their final votes on local ballot measures regarding ordinances which would outlaw abortion within their jurisdiction.
