It’s official. Four hundred acres of California coastline between Newport Beach and Costa Mesa has been reclaimed for current and future generations.
Thanks to the support and commitment of Trust for Public Land members, that the Frank and Joan Randall Preserve, formerly known asBanning Ranch, has been permanently protected. This 401-acre property in Southern California will finally be a public, oceanfront park—within an hour’s drive of 8.4 million people, half of whom live in communities where parks are too few and far between.
But John, you can still be part of this historic effort and many others just like it!
The next phase begins for the Frank and Joan Randall Preserve—complex and costly work to repair the damage done to the land—and we are counting on conservation-minded people like you to join us to see this and all our projects through.
Over the years, Trust for Public Land members have protected 3.7 million acres in the U.S. and created more than 5,000 outdoor spaces for 9.4 million people.
