Folks, I hope you are having a great start to the New Year. I wanted to drop you a note today to say thank you.

Moments ago, my team let me know that we reached our $500,000 FEC goal and had one of our strongest fundraising months so far.

That is incredible. I am humbled and so grateful for your investment in our campaign.

Because of you, we’re in a strong position to grow this into a winning movement that will flip Colorado’s Senate seat blue and get Washington working for us.

As a businessman, I approach things a little differently. I truly believe we can come together and get things done to make people’s lives better. I believe it because we did it here in Colorado time and time again.

With climate change threatening our future, with health care and prescription drug costs crushing families, and with workers needing more opportunities for training and success, now is not the time for political games. Now is the time to work together to find common ground and deliver results.

Our momentum is -- and always will be -- fueled by grassroots donors pitching in whatever they can afford to make a meaningful difference in a movement we all believe in. I’m refusing to accept a single penny from corporate PACs because I want to run a campaign we all can be proud of.

While our opponent relies on Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and their rolodex of shady donors to bankroll his campaign, we rely on people like you.

And that’s the way I like it.

Now that 2020 is in full swing, we’re expecting Republicans to ramp up their attacks against Democrats nationwide -- especially here in Colorado.

But as long as I’ve got your support, I’m confident we can take ‘em on.

We have a big and important year ahead. I hope you will stay committed, stay focused, and keep making your voice heard. We have a lot to look forward to.

Thanks again and Happy New Year!

— John

P.S. I stopped in Edwards a few days ago with my team and we took a few minutes from campaigning to visit a friend’s ranch. Colorado’s beauty and magnificence never ceases to amaze me. We are so lucky to live here, and I’m more excited than ever to spend the next year campaigning across our state. See you soon!
