John –
We’re proud to have successfully
RE-ELECTED Senator Ron Johnson! In addition, all five of our
Republican Congressmen won re-election. We even flipped Wisconsin’s
third congressional district with the election of Derrick Van Orden,
all while electing a Republican State Treasurer and flipping several
seats in the Wisconsin state legislature! Though there were some
disappointments in state elections, including Tim Michels’ narrow loss
to Tony Evers in the race for governor, Wisconsin did its part to help
put America on track.
- Wisconsin Republicans will send six congressmen to the House of
Representatives for the first time since 1994, and have elected ¾ of
Wisconsin’s congressional delegation for the first time since
1952
- Despite
the protests of the media and Democrats, by the end of Ron Johnson’s
next term, he will have been the 3rd longest serving Republican U.S.
Senator in Wisconsin history, behind only Alexander Wiley and
“Fighting Bob” LaFollette.
Now the real work begins. We’re
ready to support our Republican elected officials in getting Wisconsin
back on track. Thank you for your continued support.
- Team WisGOP
After years of Democrats targeting
Ron Johnson’s seat representing Wisconsin in the US Senate, on
Tuesday, their efforts failed once again. Senator Johnson became the
first Republican Senator from Wisconsin to be elected to a third term
since 1956! This is despite having run three races that all the
political pundits and DC insiders claimed as impossible for Ron to
win. He has defied the odds every time, because there is no more
Wisconsin politician than Ron Johnson, and we are grateful to have six
more years of Senator Johnson fighting for us in the
Senate.
More major wins during Election Day
on Tuesday came in the Wisconsin Legislature! In the Wisconsin Senate,
Republicans have gained a veto-proof supermajority for the first time
since 1968. In the Assembly, we are only two seats away from a
supermajority as well, with Republicans having picked up three open
seats: two bordering Lake Superior and one in the Milwaukee
suburbs.

For the first time in 25 years,
Western Wisconsin will be represented by a Republican in the US House
of Representatives by Congressman-elect Derrick Van Orden! When he is
sworn in, Congressman Van Orden will be one of the deciding votes that
retires Nancy Pelosi from Speaker of the House. We look forward to
seeing what good he brings to the House of Representatives and results
he delivers for the people of the 3rd Congressional
District.
Despite it being the same week as
the most recent election, the April Supreme Court and municipal races
are just around the corner! In fact, it is only 19 days until
nomination petitions must begin circulation for those elections. If
you or someone you know is interested in running as a Republican for
local office, please have them reach out to RPW by filling out
THIS
form.

In Case You Missed It…
Statement
from Ron Johnson The corporate
media is refusing to call a race that is over. The votes are in. In
all Democrat strongholds, municipalities are reporting 100% of wards
are in and counted. There are some counties that have anywhere from
3-10% of the votes outstanding. These localities represent areas where
we are winning by over 60%.

Staff Spread Across State For Campaign
Season The Republican Party of Wisconsin has completed the most
decentralized, comprehensive statewide effort ever during a midterm
election cycle, with over 175 field staff working out of all corners
of the state, including dozens of campaign offices throughout
Wisconsin. To accomplish this ambitious goal, RPW staff were relocated
away from the Madison office and into offices around the
state.

Statement on Midterm Elections
There
are great victories for conservatives coming out of this midterm
fight. Ron Johnson will serve a third term in the United State Senate.
Congressman Bryan Steil was re-elected in a new-look 1st district, and
Congressman-Elect Derrick Van Orden won in a historically blue
district of the state.
