I just wanted to thank you for your support in this election cycle. I wanted to wait a little bit to see what our final numbers were -- or to at least find out what our government (House and Senate) was going to look like in January.

Looks like it's going to be a while, though.

So, with today being Veterans Day, a lot of people are thanking me for my service and I wanted to THANK YOU for supporting me, and believing in our democracy in 2022.

?

A lot of pundits were predicting a red wave. We definitely didn't get that at a national level. We'll see what the final number looks like, but the Democratic Party had a historically good showing.

?

Sadly, District 1 did not. We did far better than the numbers suggested. The New York Times predicted that we would lose by 27%, and we are currently down 19% - but it wasn't enough.?

?

It's a bit depressing on my end, but I'm glad that I tried. And I want you to know that your support was appreciated. I will not be running again in 2024, but I hope that whoever steps up earns your full support as well.
