It’s just been made official, folks – I’ve won re-election to represent Nevada’s Third District!

I’m immensely grateful for the support that’s been extended to me and my campaign over the past year. I’m also grateful for my family, campaign staff, and for you, for sticking with me through what was the toughest race of my life.

I could not have won this race without your support.

This was no walk in the park, either. Our race was considered one of the most competitive and expensive by forecasters and analysts across the country. The Republican Party even spent more than $14 million to do everything they could to beat us on Election Day.

But that didn’t stop me from believing in this team and it sure didn’t stop you from supporting me, either. I owe you a tremendous debt of gratitude.

Just because we won this race doesn’t mean the battle is over. Looking forward, I’m ready to continue the great work that I’ve done for Nevadans for nearly four years.

Now more than ever, we need to protect reproductive rights, lower costs for working families, make health care more affordable and accessible, protect our sacred democracy, and protect Nevada’s water access.

If my to-do list seems long to you, it’s because it is.

I’ll never lose my determination to serve Nevadans no matter the difficulty or number of obstacles in front of me. And now, we’ve shown for a third time that this grassroots team has what it takes to get the job done.

So, let’s take today to rest from our hard work and resolve that tomorrow begins a new stage of the fight for making Nevada the best it possibly can be.
