John, we’re coming to you with another update on the count here in CA-47:
- 60% of received ballots have been counted.
- Katie currently has 51% of the vote.
- All in-person votes have been counted, and Katie’s lead increased with recent ballot updates.
It took eleven full days for Katie’s race to be decided in 2018. Ballots that were dropped in mailboxes on Election Day may not have even made it to the registrar’s office yet, so we always expected this count to take some time.
Over the course of this campaign we knocked over 125,000 doors and made more than 640,000 phone calls. Thanks to your support, our campaign was able to do this important work. Now, we eagerly await the results!
