Hello,

When I think about Veterans Day, I think about the thousands of heroes I’ve met from Minnesota and across the country. I think of their bravery, their honor and their sacrifices. I think of their stories.

I’ve always believed that Veterans Day shouldn’t be a one-day affair. When Americans sign up to defend our nation, we make a promise to take care of them while they serve in our military and after they leave it. We have a deeply important obligation to support those who have sacrificed for us -- including making sure they receive the medical care and benefits they deserve.

I’m so grateful for America’s veterans, today and every day.
