We had a strong night on Tuesday. I want to thank this entire grassroots team for your hard work, determination, and sacrifice that helped elect Democrats.
Listen, voters spoke clearly about their concerns in this election. They sent a clear and unmistakable message that they want to preserve our democracy and protect the right to choose in this country.
And we can’t forget about the young people of this nation who voted in historic numbers again, just as they did two years ago. They voted to continue addressing the climate crisis, gun violence, their personal rights and freedoms, and student debt relief.
It is not lost on me that we would not be here without you. The generous donations of this grassroots team have put us in an incredibly strong position. And we’re just getting started.
I will always put the needs and interests of the American people first. I'm going to continue to focus on cost cutting for working and middle class families, and building an economy from the bottom up and middle out.
I have never been more optimistic about America’s future than I am today. That is in no small part because of this team. After a long campaign season, I still believe what I always have: This is a great nation and we’re a great people. There is nothing we can’t do if we do it together. We just need to remember who we are.
