Today is Veterans Day, a day to celebrate our heroic soldiers, sailors, and Marines in every generation.

As the proud daughter of an Air Force veteran, I know just how hard our veterans work to keep us all safe and free, and provide for their families. Service members put their lives on the line every day to defend the rights and lifestyle that we Americans often take for granted.

So today, I implore you to take a moment to thank a veteran in your life for the immeasurable sacrifice they made for the greater good. We may never be able to repay our debt to the veterans of this country, but an earnest thank you is an excellent start.
