Hi,

Time is running out on at least 57 Biden judicial nominees1 — who must be confirmed before the end of the year. A slew of other important Biden nominees remain on hold as well, votes delayed by right-wing extremists like Senator Josh Hawley.2

The Senate must act quickly to overcome institutional obstacles and stalling by the Senate GOP to confirm Biden’s judges ASAP.

Take action now and urge your U.S. Senators to confirm Biden’s judges and other nominations immediately. These confirmations take time and they MUST happen before the end of the year.

Over decades, Republicans have focused on overhauling America’s courts to make them more conservative. And in many ways, they’ve succeeded, especially with the right-wing decisions of the Supreme Court. President Biden has been able to put a dent in the conservative project by securing the appointment of more than 80 judges.3

But Mitch McConnell, Ted Cruz, and Hawley are doing what they can to stall confirmations for Biden’s judges and other nominations to important government agencies, like Gigi Sohn to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) — Sohn could break the tie on the FCC and save net neutrality.4 Hawley is helping to delay nominees like Biden’s choice for the top Pentagon watchdog — we need these roles filled now.5

The GOP will do everything it can to block Biden’s nominees and that’s why the Senate must move quickly to confirm Biden’s judges and other important nominees. We need Biden’s 50+ judges confirmed and on the courts immediately.

Add your name urging the Senate to confirm Biden’s judges, Gigi Sohn, and other important nominees immediately!

Thanks for taking action,

Tihi and the team at Demand Progress
