America is the land of the free because of the brave men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces to defend our freedom and liberty. Join me in honoring the millions of veterans across America and thanking our Gold Star families for continuing to carry on the legacy of their loved ones. Throughout our nation's history, Americans have answered the call to serve regardless of the circumstances or danger that lay ahead. Without the bravery of these individuals, the United States would not be the beacon of freedom and democracy that it is today. We must never take for granted the freedoms we have as Americans. To all our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and their families—we thank you for your service and tremendous sacrifice. My office is here to ensure veterans in Eastern Kansas have everything they need to navigate the federal government and its agencies. If you or someone you know is having trouble with the VA, please don't hesitate to give my office a call. I have professionals on my staff that can help you through the barriers of bureaucracy. Throughout my first term in Congress, I have worked across the aisle to ensure Kansas veterans get the care they deserve from the federal government. I am proud to have supported the PACT Act, spearheaded by Senator Jerry Moran and signed into law by President Biden, that will provide 3.5 million toxic-exposed veterans with the benefits and care they deserve from the VA. I also supported the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act that gave our troops a much-needed pay raise and expanded benefits for our military families. I will continue to do everything I can in Congress to ensure our heroes get the care they deserve. Today and every day, may God bless our veterans, and may God bless America. ‌ ‌ www.laturner.house.gov Washington, D.C. 1630 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515 Phone: (202) 225-6601 Topeka 3550 SW 5th St. Topeka, KS 66606 Phone: (785) 205-5253 Pittsburg 402 North Broadway Street Suite B Pittsburg, KS 66762 Phone: (620) 308-7450 Rep.
