NEWS FOR FIGHTING FIFTH VETERANS Dear john, Today we recognize the sacrifices of those who have bravely served this country. We not only say thank you, but we commit ourselves to honoring their sacrifice through action. On this Veteran’s Day, I wanted to share a brief overview of the ways my office supports the Fighting Fifth’s veterans, active duty military, and their families. Our Constituent Advocate team takes pride in doing everything they can for the constituents of the Fighting Fifth. Each day, veterans reach out in need of healthcare, resources for jobs and housing, as well as help with the processing of their VA claims. We are here to help. Our team has handled submissions to the Board of Veteran Appeals, direct submissions to congressional liaisons for each individual branch on behalf of Active Duty Service Members, Records Retrieval from the National Archives and Records Administration as well as submissions to the Boards for Correction of Military Records, and more. When you reach out to our office, know that I have a veteran on my team to help you along the way.
