Today is Veteran's Day, a day to reflect on and deeply honor the veterans who have made invaluable sacrifices and contributions to our nation.

Donald Trump's offensive attacks on our generals and troops are a stain on our nation, and I look forward to a day where respect for our troops is once again bipartisan.

The bravery and sacrifices of veterans and their families are the only reason we can enjoy our freedom. They deserve our care, respect, and support.

That means improving Veterans healthcare and making sure they have access to the services they need. It also means ending veteran homelessness. After so much sacrifice, it is the least we can do.

To all veterans — today and every day, thank you for your service.
