Dear John,

Veterans Day is a unique opportunity for us to express our gratitude and thank those who've served our nation.

Many of our veterans choose to continue their service by joining the federal government because they understand our country still needs their skills and passion. It is their courage and commitment that keeps us safe every day.

To our veterans, thank you for your continued service to the country. It is an honor to represent you. To our government workers — especially those who care for our nation's veterans, thank you for all you do.
