I know it’s easy to get hyper-focused on the election that happened

on this Veterans’ Day and to also commemorate the Marine Corps’
Birthday as we honor the men and women who have served to keep this
nation free.

As contentious as our elections have become, we should never lose
sight that we are a blessed nation that still has the privilege to
exercise our right to vote. And these rights have been fought for and
preserved bravely by the men and women who put on that uniform.

The men and women who serve in every branch of our Armed Forces
continue the fight to keep the flame of liberty lit across the globe,
