A Veterans Day Message
----------------------

To All Our LULAC Veterans,

Today, con orgullo, we rise to salute you and your service to God and Country.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your honorable sacrifice. This Veterans
Day, LULAC thanks you for securing the liberties we often take for granted. Also,
I deeply appreciate all the selfless and brave soldiers, heroes like you who
helped build this great nation! I am very proud of you and your example to remind
us freedom is not guaranteed.

Your stories of bravery [ [link removed] ]
are legendary and inspire all Americans to reach for the courage and spirit
within each of us.

Also, the LULAC familia is extremely grateful for all the work our Veterans
Committee has accomplished over the last couple of years. Their hard work led to
the passage of the Vanessa Guillen Act, and we are proud of LULAC members
Patrick, and Teri Caserta, for getting Congress to pass the Brandon Act, named
after their son. These laws will protect our service members and reduce suicides
in the military, hopefully ending them one day soon.

Finally, the Veterans Committee and other LULAC members are working tirelessly to
pass legislation in Congress and bring our deported veterans home to the country
they defended.
