Dear John,
We are calling for members to get involved in our election campaigns ‘breakthrough’ team.
In this team, we will be preparing for the 2024 London assembly elections and the next local elections in 2026. If you can imagine being a Green representative on the local council, or if you are keen to help Greens get elected in 2024 and 2026, please join in: we need motivated members and activists to help out.
From researching local issues, to preparing and distributing campaign literature, from asking searching questions at council meetings, to talking with residents on the doorstep or influencing debates on local social media, there are many things to do and jobs for everyone.
What is involved:
- Join the campaign’s team meeting, every fortnight for an hour.
- Get involved with some of the tasks outlined above - maybe even take the decision to stand as a councillor in a target ward.
- Get Greens elected to make a difference in West Central London!
