Dear Colorado Republicans -

Together, we were relentless this election cycle. Together, we ran a strong slate of Republican candidates who represented their districts -- moms and dads who'd had enough, small business owners, Hispanic, African American, and other diverse leaders, young Coloradans, and grandparents who were fighting for the next generation. I'm so proud of each person who stepped up to run and lead our state towards a better future. Thank you to each and every candidate who put themselves and their families out there to run for all of us.

As you're well aware, Tuesday's results were not what we were hoping for. We successfully united around the Republican Commitment to Colorado, promising to make Colorado more affordable, prioritize public safety, and expand educational options for everyone. But the Democrats spent Jared Polis' millions and dark money pretending that was their message. They lied to voters, running on election year rhetoric instead of the results they've failed to deliver.

One day, I believe Coloradans will have had enough of inflation, the skyrocketing cost of living, record high violent crime, and drug deaths to make a change. 2022 was not that year. The fact is we are living in a Democrat-controlled state.

But no matter the results, it's been an honor to be in the fight with courageous conservatives like you all across our state. In every corner of Colorado, you can still find the independent, Western spirit that says government shouldn't get to control our lives and take away our rights. One day, our voice will be loud enough to be heard at the ballot box.

There are still multiple races in Colorado being counted -- included Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's -- that are too close to call. We'll continue to fight and work until every vote is counted. Remember the difference you made in 2021, where we showed up, worked hard, and voted in city council, mayor, and school board races across Colorado. While the results are not up to us, the effort and the showing up no matter what still is.

Republicans will remain the party of constitutional rights. We are the pro-life party, period. We stand for every human being's right to live. We are the party of the Second Amendment, and we won't stand by when a Democrat government tries to stomp us down. We are the party of affordability and the working family. We are the party of law and order, of safety and accountability. We'll continue to fight against the drugs that are killing our kids and the anti-parent sentiment at too many public schools.

We must still Never Surrender. The fight goes on.
