Dear friends,

For the next 4 hours, your donation will have double the ability to improve maternal health.

Help provide access to prenatal care, safe delivery, and family planning services.

Making childbirth radically safer for mothers living in poverty requires solving problem after problem. But each one is solvable, and each time we implement a solution, more mothers survive to meet their babies.

Here’s an example: Many families live hours by motorbike from their nearest hospital or clinic, and that delay can have deadly consequences if the pregnancy has complications.

One solution? Maternal waiting homes like Kay Manmito in Haiti.

1) Build a safe place right next to the hospital, with food, prenatal care, and good company for women nearing their due dates.
2) Make staying there free of charge.
3) Provide immediate, quality health care the moment a complication arises or labor begins.

Maternal waiting homes help solve the distance problem and are just one example of the ways that smart, comprehensive health system investment can help radically reduce maternal mortality around the world.

You can help fund that investment, and for the next few hours, your donation will be doubled by an anonymous donor. Give $200 (matched) now: [link removed]

In solidarity,
