Good afternoon,

Thank you again for supporting our campaign and Democratic candidates across the country who focused on putting People Over Politics.

From saving the economy to making the largest investment in our nation's infrastructure to addressing the high cost of prescription drugs, House Democrats delivered For The People.

While many races remain too close to call, we do know that Democrats had a historic night.

We are proud to welcome Rep-elects Nikki Budzinski (IL-13), Eric Sorensen (IL-17), Hilary Scholten (MI-3), Wiley Nickel (NC-13), Gabe Vasquez (NM-2), Greg Landsman (OH-1), Emilia Sykes (OH-13), Summer Lee (PA-12), Chris Deluzio (PA-17) and Seth Magaziner (RI-2), and the many more candidates and incumbents, who won important competitive elections. The diverse mosaic of the House Democratic Caucus remains vibrant because of their victories.

We look forward to having them join our incumbent members who won reelection, many against a deluge of attacks from extreme MAGA Republicans. I am honored to have stood shoulder to shoulder with every member regardless of the outcome.

Unfortunately, not all of my colleagues prevailed. I want to thank each one for running a strong race and for their friendship. I will miss the opportunity to serve with them, but I look forward to continuing to work together on behalf of the American people.

Beyond the House, we scored a series of key victories. We held key governorships in Wisconsin, Oregon, Michigan, Kansas and Pennsylvania. We won critical Senate races in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Colorado, Vermont and Washington. We flipped both the Michigan House and Senate for the first time in nearly 40 years.

You played a major role in our success. Thank you.
