John,
Whether we hold the Senate or not is up to us.
Senator Rapael Warnock beat insane person Herschel Walker by just under 1%, but because of the legacy of Jim Crow laws in the South--meant to do EVERYTHING possible to ensure those who represent the politics of MLK’s legacy lose--it's not enough. By not breaking 50%, Warnock's required to do it again in a runoff December 6th.
That is why Ted Cruz is bringing his special brand of dry-heave-inducing dishonor to Georgia today, to campaign for the dangerously-violent and serially-dishonest Herschel Walker.
We don't yet know if Senator Mark Kelly will hold on in Arizona, though things look good. Things look promising for Senator Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada too, as they count ballots, but it's less certain than Kelly.
In other words, this race could decide whether America keeps moving forward, or the cruel and venal Mitch McConnell regains control of the Senate, blocking every item on President Joe Biden's agenda.
Walker held a gun to his wife's head and threatened her blow her brains out. Warnock's an inspiration, preaching from the podium once occupied by Martin Luther King, Jr. There's no mystery as to who is the better person.
While Democrats had a good day Tuesday, we still saw Republicans eke out a win for the awful Ron Johnson, and steal a win with $50 million in Peter Thiel & Mitch McConnell SuperPAC money for the loathsome J.D. Vance. Let's not let them complete the trifecta with Walker.
Can you join with Blue Amp Action in saying no to Herschel Walker, Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, J.D. Vance, Peter Thiel, Donald Trump and a McConnell Majority, by donating $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can to keep Senator Warnock in the Senate?
Thank you for hanging in here with us, as the fight of our lives continues.
All my best,
Cliff Schecter
