Telehealth Use and Immigrant Entry Policies
Several articles in the November 2022 issue of Health Affairs cover topics related to COVID-19.
In one paper, Shira Fischer and colleagues add to literature about telehealth use during the COVID-19 pandemic and determine that the share of patients willing to engage in video telehealth
increased from 50.8 percent in February 2019 to 62.2 percent in March 2021.
Authors Joseph Nwadiuko and Arturo Vargas Bustamante examine border crossing and COVID-19 case data and find that short-term impacts of immigrant flow on local COVID-19 rates were
minimal.
