On behalf of everyone at the Connecticut Democratic Party, THANK YOU to each and every person who helped us achieve tremendous Democratic victories in our state!

Your donations, volunteer support, and dedication to our shared values helped us mobilize votes and secure victories for Democrats during the most important midterm election of our lifetime — we could not have done this without you.

This election, Democracy prevailed — the people of Connecticut voted Yes to the Early Voting Amendment. In the face of national voter suppression, Connecticut turned out and fought back. We have expanded access to the ballot for future generations.

To all members of Connecticut’s Congressional delegation, U.S. Representatives John Larson, Joe Courtney, Rosa DeLauro, Jim Himes, Jahana Hayes and Senator Richard Blumenthal — congratulations on your re-elections! We look forward to continuing our work together.

I am also honored to welcome all our newest Constitutional Officers: Comptroller Sean Scanlon, Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas, and Treasurer Erick Russell. Moreover, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Governor Ned Lamont, Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz, and Attorney General William Tong on winning re-election!

While we celebrate, we must not forget the work that lies ahead. This is not the time to let up — our fight continues.

Connecticut Democrats are committed to fighting for you and your family. It is my hope that our newly elected legislators — both statewide and nationwide — will work to defend our democracy, and fight for the rights of everyone.
