My friends,

The votes are still being counted, and the results of several key races are still undecided.

However one thing is clear as I write this on the Thursday morning after the election: We made a difference.

Every donation, every social media share, every video view, every phone call, every text message reminding people to vote… they were all an essential part of a beautiful collective effort to beat back the forces of authoritarianism.

There is much work yet to do. Working people are struggling. The planet is burning. Our democracy is in grave danger. Tens of millions of pregnant people have lost the right to control their own bodies.

But today, I just want to say thank you. For your donations. For your work. For your faith in America, in Inequality Media Civic Action, and in each other.
