[[link removed]] Native American Heritage Month | 11/16
CADEM is proud to celebrate Native American Heritage Month by honoring the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of this land's indigenous peoples--past and present. To mark this occasion, President Joe Biden wrote, "For centuries, broken treaties, dispossession of ancestral lands, and policies of assimilation and termination sought to decimate Native populations and their ways of life.
But despite this painful history, Indigenous peoples, their governments, and their communities have persevered and flourished. As teachers and scholars, scientists and doctors, writers and artists, business leaders and elected officials, heroes in uniform, and so much more, they have made immeasurable contributions to our country's progress."
Join us on November 16 from 6:00-7:00 PM as CADEM Celebrates Native American Heritage Month.

[[link removed]] Transgender Day of Remembrance | 11/19
This November, once again we stand in solidarity to honor the memory of transgender people whose lives have been lost to the cruelty of anti-transgender violence.
"Transgender Day of Remembrance seeks to highlight the losses we face due to anti-transgender bigotry and violence. I am no stranger to the need to fight for our rights, and the right to simply exist is first and foremost.
With so many seeking to erase transgender people -- sometimes in the most brutal ways possible -- it is vitally important that those we lose are remembered, and that we continue to fight for justice." - Gwen Smith, Founder of Transgender Day of Remembrance
Join us on November 19 from 12:00-1:00 PM as CADEM Celebrates Transgender Day of Remembrance.
