Friend,

Just this morning, Julián Castro announced that he is ending his campaign for president -- becoming yet another person of color exiting a field of candidates that began as the most diverse in our nation's history.

Julián was the only Latino candidate in the race. He made our conversations about the housing crisis, immigration, and policing, among other critical issues, stronger. And he has always stood up to be a powerful advocate for our country's most vulnerable and for those who are too often left out of the national conversation.

Here's the reality: It seems like billionaires with bottomless checkbooks have a clearer path to the nomination than talented, experienced, qualified candidates like Julián Castro.

Julián's early exit is a loss for our party and this nominating process.

We need Cory's voice now more than ever. Chip in to support our campaign >>

So here's our ask: Cory has not yet qualified for this month's DNC debate. We have just over a week left to meet the polling requirements, and we're going to need all hands on deck if we're going to hit it.

It would be a shame if there aren't any candidates of color on that stage.

Chip in right now to ensure Cory's voice continues to be heard in this race and that he has a fighting chance.

Thank you, Julián, for bringing your ideas and leadership to this race -- your voice and campaign were invaluable in sticking up for underrepresented communities and pushing the field forward.

Thank you,
Booker HQ
