Dear Michigander,
Today, I am filled with hope for Michigan?s future.?I am so excited to continue serving you and the state I love for another four years. ?
We have accomplished so much together over the last four years. We made the largest state investment in K-12 education in Michigan history. We lowered the cost of child care and higher education, announced 30,000 new auto jobs, moved dirt to fix 16,000 lane miles of road and 1,200 bridges, and passed four balanced, bipartisan budgets?all without raising taxes by a dime. We still have so much more work to do, and I am ready to roll up my sleeves and spend the next four years getting things done to make a real difference in people?s lives. ?
We faced a lot of unprecedented challenges together, and we will no doubt face more challenges in the days to come. But if the last couple years have taught us anything, it?s that Michiganders are tough. I know that when we stand together, we can grow our economy, support our kids, and make sure our communities thrive for generations. We can get things done and move Michigan forward.?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas with my office about how we can make progress in Michigan. I hope you will continue to stay engaged as we embark on this new era of change together. ?
