We would like to thank everyone who chose to put in the work and volunteered to get good candidates elected in OC. We would like congratulate Congresswoman Michelle Steel and Congresswoman Young Kim for their resounding re-elections to Congress. We are also happy to report on the strong election of Assemblywoman Janet Nguyen to the State Senate. At the Assembly, we would like to congratulate Assembly members Philip Chen and Laurie Davies on their successful re-elections, and we're excited for Diane Dixon and Tri Ta to join them in representing Orange County in Sacramento. There are many targeted municipal races that are up for grabs, but we'd like to commend Tony Strickland, Pat Burns, Casey McKeon and Gracey Van Der Mark for forming a dynamic slate and working together to take back the city council majority in Huntington Beach. There is very much to be decided in the coming days, especially with the two remaining Congressional races in CD-47 and CD-49, which will be key to building up a new House majority, as well as the Board of Supervisors, District 5 race, which will determine control of our county government. As we speak, the OC Registrar of Voters is counting and verifying ballots, and and we have volunteers on the ground observing the count, and ensuring transparency and fairness in this process. There is also the matter of some close races in the US Senate that may determine control of that chamber, including the impending runoff election in Georgia coming on December 6th. There will likely be upcoming opportunities to phonebank and deploy to Georgia in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for those opportunities.
