Dear John,

On Tuesday, voters across the country went to the polls to cast their vote. While several Senate and House races remain undecided — meaning we don’t have a complete picture of which party will control Congress — we do know that democracy and the progressive agenda won in many key races across the country.

Once we know the final outcome, you’ll likely be asking, what’s next?

Join us next Wednesday, November 16 from 7:00-8:00 pm ET for our virtual event: Who Won & What’s next? Interpreting the Election Results.

We’ll recap the results and, most importantly, discuss our strategy moving forward for pressuring leaders to stand up for a bold agenda to protect our food, water and climate.

The work doesn’t end with the election. Now it’s up to us to make sure this new Congress prioritizes our communities and our planet. Food & Water Watch is committed to fight harder than ever to ensure our leaders in Washington — and across the country — hear us on the issues of clean water, safe food and a livable climate. And we need you with us, John.

Together, we’ll continue to do what we do best: build a grassroots movement and organize at the local, state and national level to ban fracking and factory farms, fight water privatization, and move toward a 100% renewable energy future.

Can we count on you to be there next Wednesday, November 16 to learn about your role in our plan for the future?

Best,

Kate
