Hi Friend,

We know this feels stressful, but we promise it’s going to be okay! We are
officially in the final stretch! We knew results would be slow to come, so
while we wait for the final results we’re here to offer you some peace of
mind by providing what the final stretch entails.

Over the past few weeks we have watched our election heroes work
tirelessly to guarantee a seamless election process. We trust our Nevada
election officials to count every vote to ensure we get full and accurate
results.

Nevadans have multiple ways they can cast their vote and make their voice
heard. That means we have to count every single vote, no matter how long
it takes. As democracy hangs in the balance, it is now more important than
ever that we move slowly and accurately.

We need to let our election officials do their job.

It’s natural to feel on edge right now, especially given the importance of
this election. But one of our most sacred rights is the right to vote, and
election officials have a duty to ensure that every eligible vote is
counted.

WE (the voters) decide who wins elections, not politicians or political
campaigns. The only person who can certify an election and name a winner
is an election official. When election officials take the time to count
and verify every ballot, that’s a sign that our democracy is working.
COUNT EVERY VOTE! As more mail ballots are verified and counted, the
results may shift. Ignore the polls, the pundits, and those who want to
convince you it’s over before it's over — no matter what side they are
coming from.

Sometimes mail-in ballots need a little extra love and need to go through
a “curing” process to make sure they are counted. This means either your
signature is missing, needs to be verified, or they just need to check
your ID. If your ballot needs “curing,” you will be contacted by the
elections department. Votes that need curing are public records, so you
may also be contacted by a political campaign or advocacy organization to
help you and make sure your vote counts.

Keep calm and let democracy win!
