Great news to share! The Oregonian and Oregon Public Broadcasting are now projecting that I will be the next Governor of the great state of Oregon.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for your support. Team Tina was absolutely phenomenal. We had:

• 4,000 volunteers helping Democrats up and down the ballot.
• 24,000 grassroots donors.
• An amazing coalition of labor, reproductive justice, environmental, and equal rights organizations fighting for us.
• An incredible student-led effort — Students for Tina on university campuses and Teens for Tina in high schools — mobilizing young Oregonians who care about the future of our state.
• And you!

You showed up. You didn’t take anything for granted. You knocked on doors, you made phone calls, you pitched in a few dollars if you could.

Because of you, my team and I had the resources to build a strong grassroots campaign where people came together with a shared vision of a future dedicated to justice and opportunity for all — for an Oregon where we fight for each other, no matter where you live, where you come from, or who you are.

I also want to thank my wife, Aimee, for her unwavering support. For anyone who has felt othered for living as your authentic self, let this victory serve as a reminder that you can do whatever you set your heart to.

Our work is just getting started, and I am grateful to have you by my side as we build an Oregon that works for all of us.
