I have been humbled by your outpouring and support for our campaign. We could not have run this campaign without you. The most rewarding aspect of this campaign has been reconnecting to so many of you. Marissa and I are so thankful to have you as friends.
I called Wesley last night to congratulate him and wish him and his family the best.
We ran a good and honest race that just came up short; however, I don’t regret jumping into this race for one minute. Today, I will go back to focusing on my role in building strong school district leaders and my non-profit work in the Houston community.
