Dear MoveOn member,

Last night was a WIN. By turning out in
huge numbers, voters rejected the MAGA agenda and helped prevent the
Republican dream of a "red wave." Now, with control of Congress uncertain,
we have the opportunity to finish the work of this election and hold on to
a Democratic Senate.

Over the next few days and even weeks, we must demand that election
officials count every vote to accurately determine each race. Getting
every vote counted is worth fighting and waiting for.

Now, we are turning our people-powered engines full-blast toward a Georgia
Senate runoff. In just under four weeks, we'll have the chance to reelect
the exceptional Senator Raphael Warnock in what could determine control of
the Senate, the future of President Biden's agenda, and the political
landscape of the next two years leading into the 2024
election.

[ [link removed] ]Join us on Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m ET (6 CT/5 MT/5 PT) for
MoveOn's national call to jump into the campaign to secure Democratic
control of the Senate by reelecting Sen. Warnock in Georgia's special
election—while also marking our achievements from last night and sharing
plans in advance of Trump's anticipated announcement of his own run for
president. RSVP now.

What we accomplished has been remarkable. History
predicted the party in the White House losing both chambers, and polls and
pundits agreed. We faced extreme gerrymandering concocted by Republican
partisans and approved by right-wing judges—redistricting schemes without
which the Republicans wouldn't have made the gains they have in the House
of Representatives. Massive disinformation, voter suppression efforts, and
dark money from right-wing and corporate donors flooded our democracy and
battered our candidates.

Yet, people-powered get-out-the-vote activities helped the majority of
Americans—for we are the majority—hold the line in critical states,
sending a blow to election-overthrowing, voter-suppressing, abortion
access-removing, freedoms-restricting MAGA hacks who want to take our
country backwards. We powered victories in the Senate,
House, and governors' races, and voters supported abortion rights on the
ballot across the country.

Now, if we can hold Democratic control of the Senate—which may hinge on
the special election in Georgia—we will have a critical balance to a
potential GOP-controlled House, as well as the ability to continue to
confirm President Biden's appointees, especially judicial nominees.
[ [link removed] ]That is what may be at stake in Georgia—and why we want you to RSVP for
Tuesday's call so we can dive in to reelect Sen. Warnock and secure this
majority.

We won’t pretend it’s all rosy: Democrats have lost seats, candidates who
inspired us have had to concede, and MAGA election deniers will continue
to haunt elected offices throughout our government. However, in the face
of the ongoing attacks by dangerous, corrupt MAGA Republicans who seek to
snatch power at all costs, the good news is real: We prevented the red
wave—and our country will be better off for it.

And just look at some of our victories from last night:

* John Fetterman won Pennsylvania's Senate race.
* Democrats won close races for House seats—turning the predicted "red
wave" of a 40-seat Republican victory into a red trickle ... with
control of the House still to be determined.
* Voters came out in droves in the electoral battlegrounds—and helped
protect reproductive rights across five statewide ballot initiatives.
* In Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, pro-democracy gubernatorial
victories will be a xxxxxx against MAGA attempts to undermine the
next presidential election .

Now, as we wait for results
from Arizona, Nevada, and elsewhere, we know the Georgia runoff may
determine control of the Senate.

[ [link removed] ]Join us on Tuesday, November 15, as we turbocharge our people-powered
campaigning for the Georgia special election, prepare for Trump's
announcement and its impact on our political landscape, and mark the
historic people-powered achievements from last night's election.

Thanks for all you do,

—Rahna, Dan, Nita, Chris, and the rest of the team

Want to support MoveOn's work? Voters just defied history and stopped a
MAGA wave of extremism at the polls. But there is more work to do to end
the filibuster, codify abortion rights into law, and defend our freedoms,
our families, and our futures. We can accomplish all this and more, but
only if we work together.

Will you chip in right now to power our critical work?
