Hi John,

Last night’s results were not what we had hoped for, but I want to take a moment to say thank you.

Thank you for donating, for canvassing alongside us, for making calls, for sending texts, and more. You all are the best team I could ever ask for, and I’ll be forever grateful.

With your support, we built a movement in this community. We listened to the people, and we didn’t play political games. We ran this campaign exactly as I hoped we would, from start to finish.

Despite this outcome, I want you to know that this fight is not over. I will continue to work every day for our community, and I won’t ever back down.

John, I’ve spent my life fighting, and I hope you’ll continue to stand with me.
