 John, We ran a campaign to be proud of in a challenging political environment. Together, we motivated thousands of Long Islanders to make their voices heard, to stand up for common sense leadership, and to vigorously defend fundamental rights from assault. This has been a long, close, and hard-fought race. I know this is not the outcome we hoped for, but it has been the honor of a lifetime to have been the Democratic nominee for this district.
