THANK YOU, Rhode Island! Thank you to everyone who turned out to vote, volunteered with us, and donated to support my campaign this year. Your support means the world to me and my family – who I was honored to share the spotlight with on the campaign trail this year.
John, I’m so proud of the race we ran together. Despite the noise, we stayed focused on the progress we’ve achieved for Rhode Islanders and our vision for the future.

Since I took office in March 2021, Rhode Island has moved from worst to first in vaccination rates. We safely recovered our economy faster than anywhere else in the Northeast, second in the country, and we saw the lowest unemployment rate on record. We passed the smartest gun safety legislation in the country, protected women’s rights, and managed the largest surplus in our state’s history.
But John, we’re just getting started.
Rhode Islanders spoke loud and clear yesterday – and I’m excited to keep our incredible momentum going over the next four years. We’re going to set our state up for long-term success… but I cannot do it on my own. The most important aspect of Governing is bringing people together.
I’m ready to work in the best interest of Rhode Island by partnering with the general assembly, municipal leaders in all 39 cities and towns, and folks like you.
Together, we will raise incomes for our families, support our local small businesses, and invest in the people and industries that make the Ocean State strong. We will repair our infrastructure, tackle climate change, fight inflation, and finally fix the housing crisis.
Most importantly, we are going to provide our children with the quality education they deserve. We will reach or exceed Massachusetts’ test scores by 2030.
Yesterday, we celebrated a big win. Today, we’re getting back to work.
Thank you for your help,
Dan
