JOHN,

Last night did not go the way we would’ve liked.

But I’m incredibly proud of the work we did here. And I’m thankful for the effort you put into my race and others like it. Without you, this race would not have been close.

We lifted up the voices of the blue collar roots of MI-10. We brought attention to the needs of this community. Our best hope now is that John James goes to Washington and advocates for all of you.

This does not mark the end. This result does not mean we’re done fighting for a better future. If anything, we now have even more work ahead of us. We must prepare to continue the fight for the soul of our nation.

Thank you again for your work and your dedication. We can’t lose hope now.
