Folks, we won our election for New York’s 18th Congressional District!
Because of all of our hard work, I will have the opportunity to represent the great people of this district — including my neighbors, my friends, and the community I call home — for a full two-year term.
It is the honor of my life to bring your voices with me to Washington.
I want to thank all of you. This district is where I was born and raised, where I proudly graduated high school, where I graduated from West Point, and where my wife and I are raising our family. This community has always had my back, and I am so honored to get to return that spirit and that favor.
At a time when politics is more divisive than ever before, we’ve built a unified message. We can find common ground when we talk about the issues that matter.
Here’s the truth of the matter: We are a country that wants freedom for all. We are a country that wants safety for all. We are a country that wants democracy for all.
Folks, I’m so proud of the campaign we built together. From when we first started running for office six months ago to now, our campaign has overcome millions in dark money, super PAC dollars, attack ads, and pollsters doubting our ability to win. We sent a message loud and clear about what this district believes.
Thank you so much for the tireless support you’ve given this campaign. It means so much to me. I will never forget this moment and the hard work it took to get here.
Today, we celebrate, and tomorrow, we get right back to work.
Yours in service,
Pat
