Dear Neighbor, I hope you are well! I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on several happenings in the district as well as Harrisburg.

2022 Midterm Election

To all the constituents who voted in Tuesday’s election via mail-in, in person, or absentee ballot, thank you. 

To all of the poll workers and election officials who worked tirelessly into the night, thank you. 

To all security and law enforcement personnel, candidates, campaign staff, volunteers, thank you. 

The democratic process only works when we all vote, and our elections are upheld with dignity and respect. It remains more important than ever to cast your ballot, let your voice be heard, and ensure our freedoms and rights are protected. I am looking forward to a third term in office and am excited for the 2023-24 legislative session.

Ballots are still being counted in Montgomery County and across the country. I urge you all to remain patient for the official results and check with Montgomery County here and the State of Pennsylvania here for accurate ballot counts. 

Winter Collection Drive

It’s that time of year again! I am now holding my annual Winter Collection Drive for 2022. This year, I am asking for toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, body wash, menstrual products, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Cleaning supplies and laundry soap. New socks and undergarments for children, teens, and adults. Winter gear like coats, hats, gloves, blankets, and winter boots. And finally books for babies, children, and teens and small toys. 

All items will be donated to Mitzvah Circle and St. James Outreach House. Please drop off items and say hello at my district office on 35 Evansburg Rd., Collegeville, PA 19426 now until December 16. 

Veterans Day

On Friday, November 11, my district office will be closed to honor Veterans Day.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have served and defended our country. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, I am proud to honor and celebrate my fellow veterans who have defended democracy at home and abroad.

This past Sunday, I had the opportunity to walk in the 8th Annual Philadelphia Veterans Parade. It was a great tribute to our veterans, from one generation of vets to another, and to see wonderful public support for veterans and their families. 

This Saturday, stop by my table at the VFW Post 7155 Veterans Day Program & Veteran Benefit Expo and say hello! Starting at 11AM at 201 W. 3rd Ave., Trappe, PA, 19426, veterans assistance organizations will be on hand to discuss their services and the assistance they can offer. The post restaurant will also open at noon, and all attending are welcome to stay and enjoy lunch and drinks. I hope to see you there!
