Dear Friends,

I am writing with a special invitation for you to join me at the “Let My People Go” Conference hosted by the Ending Mass Incarceration (EMI) Multifaith Initiative from January 11-13, 2023 at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church and at The Temple in Atlanta, GA.

NRCAT has been honored to serve as a founding member of the Ending Mass Incarceration (EMI) MultiFaith Initiative since its inception in 2019. The "Let My People Go” Conference is for clergy, faith and community leaders, organizers, families, and persons impacted by incarceration to be equipped with practical tools to dismantle the systems and structures that undergird the industry of mass imprisonment.

Over the span of 3 days, attendees will learn from some of the leading thought leaders in the work of faith-based criminal justice reform, including a workshop I will be leading called “Mass Incarceration 101.” Dynamic plenaries, workshops, panels and films will be offered that equip faith communities with resources needed to effectively engage in campaigns to replace mass incarceration with human rights and human dignity.

Join NRCAT and EMI in Atlanta in January to connect, learn, share and be inspired to kick off the new year with renewed commitment to the movement.

I invite you to learn more about the “Let My People Go” Conference and register today!

Sincerely,

Johnny Perez
Director, NRCAT’s U.S. Prisons Program
