Now that most of the results are in, I wanted to say, thank you for everything, Johh.
Thank you for trusting me once again to continue serving you and your family in Congress. The fight for our reproductive rights, affordable healthcare, the environment, and our Colorado values is not over and I promise to continue finding solutions and delivering results for our communities.
Last night, Colorado held strong and we once again proved to the nation that decency, progress, and honesty matter in elections. Democrats in Colorado won critical races, with a couple still too close to call!
I am also proud of both Senator Michael Bennet and Governor Jared Polis, who, despite facing tough races and extremist opponents, prevailed in the polls. Their leadership is and will continue to be invaluable for our state.
In CO-07, Brittany Pettersen also won her race and kept a critical seat blue. I have no doubt that she's got what it takes to make an impact in Congress, and I look forward to working with her.
And while it's still too close to call, Dr. Yadira Caraveo is leading in her race in CO-08 and in CO-03, Democrat Adam Frisch is leading MAGA Republican Lauren Boebert. I look forward to welcoming both of them to the delegation.
None of this would have been possible without this grassroots team and your tireless support. While we may not know all of the results coming out of the midterms yet, my colleagues and I are honored to continue our mission to work for you and your interests.
